Philadelphia High School Baseball
The Philadelphia Baseball Review releases a weekly Power Poll that ranks the top five high school programs in the Philadelphia area. Local coaches, scouts, and talent evaluators assist in the voting and selection of teams. 

1. Malvern Prep | (19-1, 4-0) [---]
The Friars crushed Penn Charter before sweeping a Saturday doubleheader against Cardinal O'Hara and Shipley. Will face Episcopal Academy on Friday. 

2. La Salle College | (11-2, 7-0) [---]
The Explorers fell to a quality Pittston team last week in a non-conference contest, snapping a ten-game winning streak. The club will face a challenge on Wednesday with a Catholic League matchup against Neumann-Goretti.

3. Neshaminy | (9-1 8-1) [---]
The Skins dropped a 5-3 decision to Pennridge last Thursday. Will travel to Central Bucks West for a big tilt on Wednesday.

4. Central Bucks East | (8-3, 4-0) [---]
The Patriots were upset by Pennsbury on Tuesday in a 12-9 defeat. The club will host Neshaminy on Wednesday.

5. Neumann-Goretti | (9-1, 6-1) [NR]
The Saints lost their first game of the season last week to a solid Bonner club, but then bounced back with victories over Penn Charter and Devon Prep. The club will face La Salle later this week in a game with first place in the Philadelphia Catholic League on the line. 

Dropped Out: Episcopal Academy (12-4, 1-3)

Earning Recognition: Bonner (9-3, 5-2), Owen J. Roberts (9-2, 7-1)
