High School Power 5
The Philadelphia Baseball Review Power Rankings are voted on by several local coaches, scouts, and talent evaluators. We publish an updated Power Ranking each week beginning in April.
1. Episcopal Academy | (10-1, 0-0)
Lone loss this season came against a solid Perkiomen team on Saturday, otherwise, the Churchmen have been magnificent.
2. Malvern Prep | (10-1, 0-0)
The Friars have a +75 run differential over 11 games this season. The club beat Poly Prep of Brooklyn on Sunday, widely recognized as one of the best teams in the region. The Friars will visit Episcopal for a massive tilt on Tuesday.
3. LaSalle College | (5-1, 4-0)
The Explorers took care of Archbishop Wood on Monday, securing a 10-3 victory. Their lone loss this year came against Episcopal Academy. The club currently holds the top spot in the Philadelphia Catholic League.
4. Neshaminy | (4-0, 3-0)
The Skins walloped Holy Ghost over the weekend and defeated Pennsbury earlier in the season. The club will face Truman (0-1) on Tuesday.
5. Central Bucks East | (4-2, 3-0)
CB East rolled on North Penn on Monday, 14-3. The Patriots are riding a three-game winning streak and will face Souderton on Wednesday.
