Dylan Dennis came through clutch with a pivotal single to right field in the seventh inning, breaking a 1-1 tie and scoring AJ Hansen, securing the ultimate winning run in a 3-1 victory over Seton Hall on Friday in South Orange, NJ. 

Josue Valdez added to the Wildcats' lead with a solo homer in the eighth inning, providing insurance for the team. 

On the mound, Jake Francis delivered a solid performance for the Wildcats, pitching six strong innings and conceding just one run on four hits. He issued one walk and struck out three batters. 

Shane Solari also contributed with two hits in the winning effort, helping propel the team to victory. 

Elsewhere, Saint Joseph's started their three-game series against Rhode Island with a 6-3 loss on Friday at Bill Beck Field in Kingston, RI. 

Will McCausland was credited with the loss for the Hawks, giving up five runs on 10 hits across five innings, managing six strikeouts with just one walk. 

Carter Jagiela stood out with a 2-for-3 performance and a walk, while Ryan Weingartner contributed by going 1-for-3 with a walk and crossing the plate twice.
