Falter and Phillies
Bailey Falter pitched well, but the Phillies failed to capitalize with runners in scoring position and dropped the series finale with Texas at Globe Life Park on Sunday night, 2-1.

The Phillies finished 1-for-8 with runners in scoring position. Falter tossed 5 1/3 frames, surrendering two runs on seven hits. He didn't walk a batter and whiffed three.

Josh Harrison evened things for the Phillies in the fourth, pushing Nick Castellanos across the plate on a double play.

The Rangers answered in the fifth with Marcus Semien hitting an RBI single to right field, allowing Mitch Garver to score the eventual winning run.

Trea Turner finished 2-for-4 in the contest with a double. Edmundo Sosa and Bryson Stott also chipped in with two hits each in the loss.

The Phillies will open a three-game set in New York with the Yankees on Monday night.
