Aaron Nola
Aaron Nola will look to rebound from a disastrous Opening Day start on Wednesday afternoon as he takes the ball for the Phillies in their series finale with the Yankees in the Bronx.

Nola failed to get out of the fourth inning on Thursday, surrendering five runs on four hits. He also walked a pair while collecting four strikeouts.

Nola has solid career numbers against the Yankees, pitching to a 2.37 ERA (5 ER, 19.0 IP), 0.79 WHIP (2 BB, 13 H), with 26 strikeouts over three career starts.

The Yankees counter with their ace in Gerrit Cole. The 32-year-old righty was outstanding on Opening Day, tossing six scoreless innings while whiffing 11 to lead the Yanks to a 5-0 win over the Giants. The 11 strikeouts were the most a Yankees pitcher has recorded on Opening Day in franchise history.

The Phillies snapped their four-game losing skid on Tuesday with a 4-1 victory over the Yankees. Matt Strahm tossed four solid innings and Kyle Schwarber hit his 200th career homer in the win.
