Craig Larsen
Graduate shortstop Craig Larsen had an outstanding week at the plate for Villanova and is the Philadelphia Baseball Review D-I Player of the Week.

Larsen played a significant role in the Wildcats completing a three-game sweep of Butler this past weekend. The Toms River North graduate finished 12-for-19 (.632) for the week. He scored nine runs, drove in eight, and hit a double and a homer. His .307 average on the year leads Villanova.

The Wildcats got off to a rocky start to the season in their non-conference schedule, but the club is now 5-4 in Big East play and sits fifth in the standings.

The Wildcats face Lafayette in a non-conference tilt on Tuesday before hosting Xavier for a Big East weekend set.
