Saint Joseph's Ryan Picollo
Saint Joseph's secured a sweep of UMass over the weekend and sit in a tie with Rhode Island in fifth place in the Atlantic 10. The top seven clubs in the conference will make the postseason tournament next month in Richmond, Va.

Ryan Picollo finished 6-for-12 (.500) this past weekend and scored five runs for the Hawks, earning Philadelphia D-I Offensive Player of the Week honors from the Philadelphia Baseball Review. The junior paced the Hawks on Saturday with a 4-for-4 performance in a 12-3 win. He also homered on Friday night and drove in three runs over the weekend.

Picollo has been hot this month, raising his batting average to .252 on the year. He was hitting just .189 as recently as April 7th.

The Hawks (15-19, 7-5) have a pair of non-conference games scheduled for this week with Delaware visiting on Tuesday and Bucknell on Wednesday.

The club resumes conference play with Fordham coming to Smithson Field to open a three-game set on Friday.
