The Rangers trounced the Phillies on Saturday, 16-3. Zack Wheeler lasted just 4 1/3 innings while Seranthony Dominguez and Craig Kimbrel combined to allow nine runs (seven earned) while recording just one out. 

The last time the Phillies allowed more than ten runs in back-to-back games to open the season? 1929. 

The club turns to Bailey Falter on Sunday. The 25-year-old left-hander broke camp with a spot in the starting rotation because of injuries to Ranger Suarez and Andrew Painter. He posted a 4.50 ERA over 18 innings this spring. 

The Rangers will have Martin Perez on the bump. The 31-year-old lefty was outstanding last year, posting a 2.89 ERA over 32 starts.
