Penn State-Abington has three named to All-Philadelphia Team
To recognize the top talent at the D-III level across the Philadelphia region, the Philadelphia Baseball Review annually releases an All-Star roster comprised of the top performers. Players are selected based on statistical achievements and clutch performances throughout the season. 

Representing Penn State-Abington on the Philadelphia Baseball Review All-Philly D-III roster this season is senior shortstop/pitcher Ryan McCarty, senior outfielder Stevie Stevenson, and freshman catcher Justin Fogel. 

McCarty pieced together an outstanding year at the plate, finishing with a .436 batting average to go along with four homers and 33 RBIs. He also finished second in the Philly region in the D-III level with 40.4 runs created. 

Along with his performance at the plate, McCarty impressed on the mound too. He posted a 1.69 ERA over 21 1/3 innings while picking up 19 strikeouts and allowing just two walks. 

Stevenson stole 20 bases on the season for the Nittany Lions while hitting .407. He also hit four homers and drove in 29 RBIs. 

Fogel was one of the top freshmen in the region, hitting .412 on the season while posting a 1.069 OPS. He also struck out just twice in 85 at-bats.
