Phillies travel to Atlanta
Zack Wheeler pieced together a masterful performance on Thursday afternoon, tossing a complete-game shutout to lead the Phillies to a 2-0 win over the Brewers at Citizens Bank Park.

The victory sealed a four-game sweep for the Phillies while also extending their longest winning streak of the season. It was Wheeler's second career shutout. He scattered three hits, walked none, and whiffed eight.

For a club that's been mediocre at best to open the season, the sweep of a quality club that came to Philadelphia on a roll could be viewed as a huge momentum boost as the Phils hit the road for a nine-game road trip starting Friday.

“As well as they were playing,” manager Joe Girardi said. “Yeah, this is a big point in our season.”

The Phillies now travel to Atlanta for a weekend set with the division-rival Braves.

The Phillies swept the season opening series between the two clubs.

Zach Eflin will start the opener for the Phillies. He's 1-1 with a 3.49 ERA over six starts to open the season.

Roster move
Jean Segura was reinstated from the injured list Friday after he missed 15 games because of a strained right quadriceps. Outfielder Mickey Moniak was sent back down to Lehigh Valley to clear a roster space.

Score some runs
This season, the Phillies are 6-8 when scoring three runs or fewer (.429 win %) … Last season, the Phillies went 3-20 when scoring three runs or less (.130 win %).
