Phillies vs. Nationals
The Phillies aim to get back in the win column tonight as the club opens a three-game set in Washington with the division-rival Nationals.

The Phils dropped two-of-three over the weekend in Atlanta and sit a game behind the Mets in the NL East. The Nationals, meanwhile, enter play tonight four games below .500 and sitting in the NL East cellar.

The Phillies get the Nationals at a good time as Stephen Strasburg is sidelined with shoulder inflammation and Max Scherzer just pitched on Saturday against the Yankees. Chase Anderson will get the ball in Game 1 for the Phillies. He tossed five innings his last time out against the Mets, surrendering one run on five hits. He's yet to pitch beyond five innings this season and has an ERA of 5.40. The Nationals counter with right-hander Erick Fedde who is 2-3 with a 5.27 ERA.

Zack Wheeler will face Jon Lester tomorrow and Zach Eflin will face Patrick Corbin in the series finale on Thursday.
