GAMES OF APRIL 9, 2019
Villanova 8, Saint Joseph's 7: Doug deMarrais delivered a walk-off single in the 10th to score pinch-runner Theron Schilling and lift the Wildcats to a win. deMarrais finished the contest with three hits while Nick Lorusso also collected three hits and scored a pair of runs. For the Hawks, Andrew Cossetti homered and Liam Bendo drove in a pair.
Muhlenberg 9, Swarthmore 8: Jackson Roberts finished 3-for-4 for the Garnet in the losing effort. Michael Sepe drove in a pair.
Cabrini 8, Cairn 3: Mack McKisson finished 3-for-3 with a pair of doubles and two RBIs to lead the Cavs. Shaun Stackhouse chipped in with three RBIs and Drew Swire picked up the two innings save. The Cavs are 20-6 on the season and 8-0 in conference play.
Cabrini 11, Cairn 7: The Cavs swept the doubleheader. Shaun Stackhouse drove in three and Joe Aurite homered in the winning effort.
