Arcadia's Trevor Mattson and Joel Bartoni take home weekly honors
The Philadelphia Baseball Review released its Division-III College Player of the Week awards on Tuesday for the period ending February 24.

Arcadia sophomore third baseman Trevor Mattson has been named the Philadelphia Baseball Review's Hitter of the Week, while Arcadia senior right-hander Joel Bartoni has been named the Philadelphia Baseball Review's Pitcher of the Week.

Mattson went 8-for-11 (.727) over the weekend for the Knights, collecting three RBIs while scoring twice. He hit a pair of doubles and a triple to piece together a 1.091 slugging percentage.

Bartoni tossed six stellar innings in a victory over Elizabethtown, surrendering one run (unearned) on one hit. He walked one and struck out five.

The Knights took two of three contests over the weekend, sweeping a doubleheader against Elizabethtown before falling to Johns Hopkins. The team is back in action on Saturday in Scranton.

The Philadelphia Baseball Review names winners each Tuesday throughout the college season.
