Philadelphia Baseball Review College D-I Player of the Week
The Philadelphia Baseball Review released its Division-I College Player of the Week awards on Monday for the period ending February 24.

Villanova freshman infielder Nick Lorusso has been named the Philadelphia Baseball Review's Hitter of the Week, while La Salle junior left-hander Jackson Ray has been named the Philadelphia Baseball Review's Pitcher of the Week.

Lorusso went 4-for-9 (.444) over the weekend with a homer, a double, four walks, and four RBIs.

Ray tossed seven scoreless innings on Saturday for the Explorers in a 3-0 win, scattering five hits while collecting seven strikeouts.

The Philadelphia Baseball Review names winners each Monday throughout the college season.

Founded in 2006, the Philadelphia Baseball Review covers all aspects of baseball in Philadelphia region.
