GAMES OF FEBRUARY 24, 2019

Virginia 10, Villanova 2: The Wildcats mustered just four hits on the afternoon, two being solo shots by Tyler Bruno and Nick Lorusso. Gordon Graceffo tossed five innings for the Wildcats, surrendering two runs - one earned - on five hits. The bullpen combined to allow eight runs in three innings in the loss while the defense committed four errors.

Rider 7, La Salle 6: Entering the final frame tied, the Explorers surrendered a pair of runs to drop the series finale. Ryan Guckin connected for a three-run shot in the sixth and Matt Rivera hit a solo blast in the seventh to even things at 5-5. Rivera finished the day 3-for-4 while Nick O'Day chipped in with three hits of his own. Mike Anthony took the loss, surrendering the two runs in the ninth via a triple and a wild pitch.

USciences 7, Bloomsburg 6: Nate Steele finished 3-for-3 with a homer and drove in three runs in the winning effort. Matt McClennen chipped in with a pair of walks and an RBI.

Bloomsburg 9, USciences 4: Nate Steele again led the offense for the Devils, finishing 2-for-3 with a homer and two RBIs. John Michael Sabatino collected four strikeouts in 4 1/3 innings of relief.

West Chester 18, Jefferson 0: Joe Zirolli went 3-for-7 with a triple and a pair of RBIs, and five pitchers combined on a five-hit shutout.

Johns Hopkins 14, Arcadia 1: Zak Thomas finished 3-for-4 with a homer but the Knights pitching faltered with the bullpen surrendering 10 runs - seven earned - in two innings of work. Sean Carew chipped in with a double in the losing effort.

SUNY-Cortland 14, Penn State Abington 5: No information available.

Shenandoah 13, Neumann 6: Nick Glebocki gave up 10 hits in two innings, surrendering nine runs in the loss. John Schoelkopf finished 3-for-4 with a double and Curt Yenchik contributed a solo shot in the eighth.

Shenandoah 10, Neumann 3: John Lindeborn led the offense with a pair of hits. Josh Cruz surrendered eight runs - seven earned - over 3 1/3 innings.

Cabrini 6, Milwaukee Engineering 5: Henry Peguero hit a walk-off single to score Mack McKisson in the final frame to lift the Cavs to a win. Peguero finished 3-for-5 in the contest and drove in a pair. McKisson finished with a walk and a pair of hits. Tyler Norris popped a two-run shot in the sixth and collected two hits in the winning effort.

Saint Mary's 10, Cabrini 1: Garrett Laraia finished 2-for-3 with a double and triple while scoring the Cavs lone run of the contest. Drew Jackson surrendered five runs over two innings in the loss.

William Patterson 10, Widener 8: Nick D'Alessandro finished 2-for-5 while Stephen DeBellis hit a three-run shot in the fifth to finish with three RBIs. Dylan Peiffer surrendered four runs on six hits over four innings in the loss.
