Altherr to the disabled list, Hernandez reinstated for Phillies

Aaron Altherr has been placed on the 10-day disabled list with a strained right hamstring and Cesar Hernandez has been reinstated and will join the Phillies Monday night as the club opens a three-game set in Miami against the Marlins.

Altherr injured the hamstring on Friday while legging out a double. The 26-year-old is hitting .288 with 14 homers over 79 games.

Hernandez spent the past week on a rehab assignment with class-A Clearwater, last appearing with the Phillies on June 9.
