Philadelphia bats erupts as Phillies take series from Marlins
The Phillies offense erupted for a season-high 20 hits with Daniel Nava pacing the way with four of his own to lift the Philadelphia Phillies to a 10-3 win over Miami in the series finale at Marlins Park.

Rookie Nick Williams collected a pair of triples and drove in two runs while Maikel Franco finished with three RBI. Odubel Herrera was the lone starter for the Phillies not to record multiple hits.

Even 2-2 in the fourth, Cesar Hernandez lofted a single up the middle scoring Andrew Knapp to give the Phillies the lead. The offense then piled up seven more runs en route to securing their first series win since sweeping a two-game set in Seattle in late June.

Nick Pivetta recorded the win, tossing 5 1/3 innings while surrendering three runs on five hits. He walked one, struck out four, and fell victim to the long ball twice - once to Giancarlo Stanton for his fourth homer of the series.

Hoby Milner, Ricardo Pinto, Joaquin Benoit, and Luis Garcia combined to toss 3 2/3 scoreless innings in relief, surrendering just two hits.

The Phillies will enjoy an off day on Thursday before welcoming the Milwaukee Brewers to Citizens Bank Park for a three-game set beginning Friday.
