For five innings, Arcadia and Scranton played a game defined by small swings in momentum.

In the sixth, the Knights delivered the decisive one.

Arcadia erupted for seven runs in the top of the sixth inning to break a 3–3 tie and roll to an 11–3 victory, using patience, timely hitting and depth throughout the lineup to pull away.

The Knights finished with 16 hits and nine walks, putting constant pressure on a Scranton pitching staff that cycled through seven arms.

Arcadia struck first in the third inning when Chris Quick singled to left, driving home Max Oswald for a 1–0 lead. Two innings later, catcher Nick Yedman provided a bigger swing, launching a two-run homer to left field to extend the advantage to 3–0.

Scranton answered immediately in the bottom of the fifth, stringing together three RBI singles to tie the game. The rally came against reliever Dylan Rasco and briefly shifted the energy.

It didn’t last long.

The sixth began with Thomas Strauch ripping a double down the left-field line to score Kevin Wheeler and restore the lead. Ryan Radigan followed with a bases-loaded walk. Quick added a sacrifice fly. Yedman singled home another run. Taro Pustilnik punched a single to center. An outfield throwing error allowed another run to score, and Wheeler capped the inning with a two-run single down the left-field line.

By the time the dust settled, Arcadia had sent 12 batters to the plate and turned a tie game into a 10–3 cushion.

The offense was balanced throughout. Yedman went 3-for-5 with three RBI and two runs scored. Wheeler finished 3-for-6 with two RBI and a stolen base. Strauch added three hits and two runs. Quick drove in three. Radigan reached base four times.

On the mound, LJ Wolff gave Arcadia four scoreless innings to open the game, allowing three hits while striking out five. After Scranton’s fifth-inning push, Jadon Dormer steadied the frame and Gavin Kincs earned the win with two scoreless innings of relief. Hunter Dicarlantonio and Christian Clauss closed out the final two innings without allowing a run.

Arcadia struck out 11 and limited Scranton to eight hits while stranding 12 runners.
