The Philadelphia Phillies announced the promotion on Thursday, having watched Haseley go 7-for-12 at the plate with a double, triple and four RBIs.
The move doesn't come as a total surprise as Phillies director of amateur scouting Johnny Almaraz said last week the organization wanted Haseley to get some at-bats before assigning him to an affiliate.
For now, he'll play center field with the Crosscutters while last year's top selection, Mickey Moniak, patrols center for Class A Lakewood. Eventually, the Phillies will see who performs better and slide the other player to a corner spot.
Moniak, who entered the year as the No. 2 prospect in the organization behind J.P. Crawford, is hitting .275 with three homers and 29 RBI for the BlueClaws. He spent last year with the GCL Phillies, slashing .284/.340/.409 in 46 games.
