Villanova pair wins weekly honors
Every week during the regular season, the Philadelphia Baseball Review will honor a Division-I Player and Pitcher of the Week.

For the week ending on March 28, the Philadelphia Baseball Review recognizes a pair of players from Villanova in infielder Jack O'Reilly as Player of the Week and hurler Jimmy Kingsbury as Pitcher of the Week.

O'Reilly finished the week 4-for-11 with a homer and three RBIs. He also scored three runs and stole a base. He's now hitting .318 on the season with 10 RBIs.

Kingsbury was outstanding in a Saturday start against Penn, tossing a complete game while surrendering two runs (one earned) in a 3-2 victory. He collected 13 strikeouts and lowered his ERA on the season to 3.38.

Villanova is 9-2 on the season and will face Saint Joseph's in a four-game set beginning on Thursday.

Founded in 2006, the Philadelphia Baseball Review covers all aspects of baseball in the Philadelphia region..
