D-1 Players of the Week
Every week during the regular season, the Philadelphia Baseball Review will honor a Division-I Player and Pitcher of the Week.

For the week ending on March 14, the Philadelphia Baseball Review recognizes Saint Joseph's sophomore Luca Trigiani as Player of the Week and La Salle freshman Frank Elissalt as Pitcher of the Week.

Trigiani finished the week 7-for-18 with a pair of homers and 12 RBIs. He also posted a 1.027 OPS.

On the mound, Elissalt recorded his first win of the season after tossing six solid innings on Saturday. He surrendered two runs on four hits while picking up 11 strikeouts. It's the second time this season that he's been named Pitcher of the Week.

Founded in 2006, the Philadelphia Baseball Review covers all aspects of baseball in the Philadelphia region.
