Graceffo and DiVietro earn honors
Every Monday during the regular season, the Philadelphia Baseball Review will honor a Division-I Player and Pitcher of the Week.

For the week ending on March 7, the Philadelphia Baseball Review recognizes La Salle junior outfielder Nick Di Vietro as Player of the Week and Villanova junior Gordon Graceffo as Pitcher of the Week.

Di Vietro (Cherry Hill, Cherry Hill West) finished the week 7-for-16 (.437) with six runs, five walks, and a pair of RBIs. He's hitting .350 through six games this season.

On the mound, Graceffo (Cranford, Cranford) was masterful on Sunday against Radford. The right-hander tossed a complete-game shutout, surrendering five hits while whiffing seven. He tossed 96 pitches, 70 for strikes. He's surrendered just two runs over 16 innings this season, posting a 1.13 ERA. He's also walked just two while collecting 11 strikeouts.

Founded in 2006, the Philadelphia Baseball Review covers all aspects of baseball in the Philadelphia region.
