The Philadelphia Baseball Review recognized five players from Saint Joseph's with the release of its All-Philadelphia Region D-1 Roster, the publication announced on Thursday.
Players selected include junior catcher Andrew Cossetti, senior outfielder Brendan Hueth, freshman outfielder Brett Callahan, senior second baseman Liam Bendo, and graduate student reliever Hayden Seig.
Cossetti led the Hawks in home runs (16), runs scored (39), and slugging (.720). He also hit safely in 20 of 24 league games.
Hueth finished second in the Atlantic 10 with a .375 batting average and led the Hawks with 54 hits. He also stole five bases and didn't commit an error in 92 chances.
Callahan led the Hawks with 11 stolen bases while ranking third on the team in batting average and fourth in hits.
Bendo committed just two errors on the season while hitting .299 on the year. His 41 hits were the third-most on the club.
Seig was 2-0 with four saves and a 3.00 earned run average in nine appearances. He posted a 1.06 WHIP and held opponents to a .227 batting average while collecting 24 strikeouts over 18 innings.
