Kyle Lindsay will be the first full-time head baseball coach in Delaware Valley University history, Director of Athletics Dave Duda announced on Tuesday.
"I am honored to have been named the full-time head coach at DelVal," Lindsay said. "I am extremely grateful that the hiring committee had the faith in me to take over a program that has the potential to achieve great things in the MAC Freedom. I would like to thank Dave Duda for providing me the opportunity to achieve my goal of being a head coach at the collegiate level. I am looking forward to getting on campus and having the opportunity to work alongside the current members of the athletic department as well as a variety of different departments on campus."
Lindsay spent the past two seasons as an assistant at Arcadia. He also spent time as an assistant at Misericordia, helping the Cougars advance to the D-III World Series in his first year on the bench. His resume also includes four seasons as an infielder at Misericordia where he was recognized as an All-MAC honoree each year and was a D3Baseball.com All-American as a sophomore.
Congrats to a great coach, but even better person. Home Run hire for the players at DelVal. The players and coaches @Arcadia_BASE wish him nothing but the best (except 3 specific games a year and the playoffs!) Congrats @CoachLindsay_6! https://t.co/BwFCZGJqDa

"Kyle comes from great baseball stock, having been a part of two outstanding programs within the MAC Freedom," said Duda. "He has great vision for the future of our baseball program and we all look forward to supporting him in pursuit of lofty goals at Delaware Valley."
The Aggies are coming off a difficult 2021 season as the club collected just three wins over 30 contests. The program last posted a winning record in 2009.
