Realmuto
J.T. Realmuto launched a pair of three-run homers, and Ranger Suárez delivered five solid innings in his return from the injured list, powering the Phillies to an 11-2 rout over the Royals on Saturday night.

Realmuto, who drove in a career-high seven runs, enjoyed his first multi-homer game since September 14, 2022. He capped off a five-run eighth inning with a 424-foot blast into the fountains in left-center, adding an RBI grounder in the ninth to punctuate his night.

Activated from the 15-day IL to make his first start since July 22, Suárez was sharp, yielding just one run on four hits while striking out six. After surrendering a double in the first inning, Suárez settled in, facing the minimum until Michael Massey’s double in the fifth. Freddy Fermin followed with an RBI single, but Suárez quickly extinguished the threat with back-to-back strikeouts to end the inning.

Kyle Schwarber doubled in his first two at-bats, scoring the game’s first run in the third when Trea Turner broke out of a 17 at-bat hitless streak with an RBI single. Turner later legged out an infield single and scored on Bryce Harper’s two-out double, extending the Phillies’ lead to 2-0 in the fifth.

Bryson Stott tied a career high with four hits as the Phillies matched a season-best 18 hits, including nine for extra bases.

Royals starter Brady Singer (9-9) was tagged for five runs on 11 hits over five innings. Bobby Witt Jr.'s 11-game hitting streak was snapped as the Royals managed just five hits on the night.

The series concludes Sunday, with Kolby Allard (1-0, 3.46 ERA) set to oppose Royals right-hander Seth Lugo (14-7, 3.02).
