Media Little League
Media Little League took care of business again on Tuesday night, thrashing a club from Washington, D.C., 13-6 to inch within a victory of claiming the Mid-Atlantic Region title and a spot in the Little League World Series in Williamsport.

The club from Media will face the winner of Thursday's semifinal between Washington, D.C. and Delaware. Media Little League hasn't lost a game this postseason.

The club finished with four victories in their districts tournament, three in their sectional tournament, and another four in the state tournament, including a mercy-rule win in the Pennsylvania State Championship.

Twenty programs from communities within 65 miles of Philadelphia have played in the Little League World Series, with Toms River East securing the most recent title in 1998.

Levittown American Little League is the last Pennsylvania program to win the Little League World Series, winning the pennant in 1960.
