Villanova's Povey recognized by the Philadelphia Baseball Review
Each Tuesday during the regular season, the Philadelphia Baseball Review will honor a Division-I Freshman and Relief Pitcher of the Week. These honors are not based entirely on statistics, but rather the value delivered by a player throughout the week.

For the week ending on March 8, the Philadelphia Baseball Review recognizes Villanova's Jack Povey as deserving of both accolades.

The right-hander made three appearances in relief last week for the Wildcats, tossing 4 1/3 innings while surrendering one unearned run. He scattered three hits, walked one, and struck out three. In six appearances this season, he's yet to allow an earned run and has a 0.94 WHIP.

Founded in 2006, the Philadelphia Baseball Review covers all aspects of baseball in the Philadelphia region.
