Eastern and Neumann athletes earn weekly honors
Each Tuesday during the regular season, the Philadelphia Baseball Review will honor a Division-III Player and Pitcher of the Week. These honors are not based entirely on statistics, but rather the value delivered by a player throughout the week.

For the week ending on March 8, the Philadelphia Baseball Review recognizes Easton junior outfielder Liam Clarke as Player of the Week and Neumann freshman hurler Billy Hunt as Pitcher of the Week.

Clarke finished the week 9-for-18 (.500) with nine runs scored. He collected four doubles, a triple, drove in nine runs, walked six times, and stole a base. On the year, he's hitting .500 with a 1.058 OPS and 14 RBIs.

Hunt made two appearances over the week for Neumann, including a start against King's College where he tossed seven solid innings while picking up 12 strikeouts. On the week, he pitched nine innings, surrendering three earned runs while notching 16 strikeouts.

Founded in 2006, the Philadelphia Baseball Review covers all aspects of baseball in the Philadelphia region.
