The Philadelphia Baseball Review released its College Player of the Week awards for the period ending May 7.

La Salle senior outfielder Brian Dudeck was named the Philadelphia Baseball Review's Hitter of the Week while Saint Joseph's senior right-handed pitcher Justin Aungst was named Philadelphia Baseball Review's Pitcher of the Week.

The Philadelphia Baseball Review names winners each Monday throughout the college season.

Dudeck finished the week for the Explorers 7-for-18 (.388) with three runs scored, three walks, a pair of stolen bases, and an RBI.

Aungst tossed a complete game for the Hawks on Sunday in a 3-0 home win over NJIT. He scattered six hits while striking out five across nine innings. He hit one batter but did not issue a walk.
