Adams and Aungst named players of the week
The Philadelphia Baseball Review released its College Player of the Week awards for the period ending March 11.

Penn sophomore second baseman Chris Adams was named the Philadelphia Baseball Review's Hitter of the Week, while Saint Joseph's senior right-handed pitcher Justin Aungst  was named Philadelphia Baseball Review's Pitcher of the Week.

The Philadelphia Baseball Review names winners each Monday throughout the college season.

Adams hit .364 for the week (8-for-22) for the Quakers. He also drove in a pair of runs, stole a base, and committed just one error in 27 chances in the field.

Aungst tossed seven innings for the Hawks, surrendering two runs (one earned) on six hits. He walked one and struck out six.

Founded in 2006, the Philadelphia Baseball Review covers all aspects of baseball in Philadelphia region.
