PBR - Vance Worley pieced together a strong perforance, striking out eight of the 12 batters he faced over four hitless innings to propel the Phillies to a 4-1 win over the Pirates on Monday in Brandenton.

Phillies Pitching: Worley was masterful and the strong outing dropped his spring ERA to 3.00 ... Pat Misch also tossed two hitless innings as the Pirates didn't record a hit until the seventh inning.

Phillies Offense: Hector Luna and Jimmy Rollins each hit solo homers to pace the Phils' offense ... Domonic Brown hit a triple his only at bat, marking his first hit since returning from an injured thumb.

Let's Review: The win brought the Phillies' record to 5-5-1 on the spring ... Jim Thome played four innings in a Minor League Spring Training contest on Monday, marking the first time he's seen action in the field since 2007.

On Deck: The Phillies travel to Kissimmee tomorrow to face the Astros at 1:05 p.m. Cole Hamels is expected to start.  Dave Bush, Brian Sanches and Raul Valdes are also scheduled to pitch.
