Connor Hinchliffe named Reliever of the Year
The Philadelphia Baseball Review announced on Tuesday that La Salle senior Connor Hinchliffe is the publication's NCAA Division I Reliever of the Year.

Hinchliffe tied the Explorers' record for saves in a season with 13, ending the regular season ranked seventh in the nation in the category and first in the A-10. Hinchliffe also led the league in appearances with 28 this season, the second most in team history.

He finished the season with a 2.27 ERA and a 1.31 WHIP while collecting 40 strikeouts over 35 2/3 innings. He held opponents to a .181 batting average. Earlier in the year, he was named to the Golden Spikes Award watch list and the NCBWA Stopper of the Year watch list.
