PBR - Kyle Kendrick tossed three scoreless innings but the Yankees were able to score against the bullpen en route to a 3-0 win on Sunday afternoon in Tampa.

Phillies Pitching: Kendrick looked impressive and has yet to allow a run this spring ... Cliff Lee pitched the other contest in Clearwater as the Phils were a split-squad, allowing two runs on six hits over three innings in what was a 4-4 tie with the Tigers ... Chad Qualls and Jonathan Papelbon also surrendered a run each. 

Phillies Offense: Juan Pierre finished 0-for-5 against the Tigers with a pair of strikeouts ... Combined, the Phils went 2-for-21 with runners in scoring position in today's two contests.

Let's Review: Qualls has had a rough spring, surrendering four runs on four hits and two walks over three innings. Opponents are hitting .308 against him ... Digging deeper into some statistics, Scott Elarton's WHIP through six innings is 0.17 and opponents are hitting just .053 against him. He also has five strikeouts.

On Deck: The Phillies travel to Brandenton tomorrow to face the Pirates at 1:05 p.m. Vance Worley is expected to start. Relievers David Herndon and Antonio Bastardo also are scheduled to pitch.
