The Phillies welcome a true test to Citizens Bank Park on Tuesday when the NL West leading Dodgers come to Philly to open a three-game set.  This could be a potential preview of a series in late October as both clubs are built for a run to the World Series.
 
Where: Citizens Bank Park, Tuesday through Thursday.
 
Pitching matchups and start times: RHP Zack Wheeler (9-4, 2.74) vs. RHP Bobby Miller (1-1, 6.12) on Tuesday. LHP Cristopher Sanchez (6-4, 2.96) vs. RHP Gavin Stone (9-2, 3.03) on Wednesday. RHP Aaron Nola (10-4, 3.48) vs. TBA on Thursday.

Series: The two teams have not met yet this season. Overall, the Dodgers lead the all-time series, 1,185 to 928.

Dodgers Update (55-36): The Dodgers were a preseason favorite to win the West and compete for the National League pennant and they've shown why as the club comes to Philadelphia with a 7 1/2 game lead in the division.
 
Phillies Update (58-32): The Phillies dropped two of three this past weekend in Atlanta and the offense has sputtered, but the club welcomes back Kyle Schwarber and Bryce Harper from the injured list on Tuesday. The offense has scored two runs or less in three of its last four games.
 
Injuries: Dodgers -- OF Jason Heyward (knee), OF Mookie Betts (hand), 3B Max Muncy (oblique), SP Dustin May (elbow), SP Tony Gonsolin (forearm), SP Clayton Kershaw (shoulder), SP Emmett Sheehan (forearm), RP Brusdar Graterol (shoulder), RP Connor Brogdon (foot), RP Joe Kelly (shoulder), RP Ryan Brasier (calf) are on the injured list.

Phillies --  J.T. Realmuto (knee), SP Spencer Turnbull (shoulder), SP Taijuan Walker (finer), RHP Michael Rucker (hand), and RHP Dylan Covey (shoulder) are on the injured list.
