Arcadia baseball
Arcadia battled back from an early deficit, but Susquehanna capitalized with a five-run tenth inning on Friday to knock off the Knights, 14-9, in the first game of the NCAA Division III Ambler Regional.

The loss pushes Arcadia into an elimination game on Saturday morning against the loser of Friday's contest between SUNY Brockport and Rowan.

The River Hawks jumped on Arcadia starter Carson Denham early with a five-run second inning. The Knights answered with a three-run fourth to even things at 5-5.

Denham surrendered seven runs, six earned, on ten hits over six innings. The River Hawks scored two more runs in the fifth and then again in the seventh, but Alex Madera delivered a two-run single for the Knights in the eighth to bring the game even and ultimately force extra innings.

Hunter Sibley took the loss, surrendering the five runs in the tenth.

Matthew Sot finished with a career-high four hits for the Knights, while Madera finished 3-for-4 with three RBIs.
