Penn earns Ivy League title
Penn completed a three-game sweep of Princeton on Sunday, allowing the Quakers to earn a split Ivy League regular-season title with Columbia.

Penn and Columbia finished the regular season with identical 17-4 Ivy League records. The Lions entered the final weekend with a lead over the Quakers in the standings but dropped two-of-three to Dartmouth, including a walk-off loss on Sunday, resulting in a tie for the top spot.

The Quakers and Lions will meet this weekend at Meiklejohn Stadium for a best-of-three series. The winner earns the Ivy League bid to the NCAA Tournament.

Penn earned the right to host the Ivy League Playoff Series by taking two-of-three from Columbia in the regular season.

Penn set a program record this year with 31 regular-season victories.

Wyatt Henseler led the club at the plate, hitting .376 on the year with 12 homers and 47 RBIs. The team posted a +128 run differential and a 4.06 staff ERA, the best mark in the Ivy League.

Look for an Ivy League Playoff Series preview later this week.
