Jefferson baseball
Josh Lopez and Efrain Santiago each homered, while Alex Gonzalez collected four RBIs to lift Jefferson to a 12-3 win over Caldwell at Alumni Field in the first game of a doubleheader on Saturday. 

Samuel Bass recorded the win, surrendering three runs over 4 2/3 innings. He collected six strikeouts while giving up just three hits. Lopez finished with four RBIs in the contest as each of the first four batters in the Rams' batting order scored two times each. 

Zack Austin took care of things for the Rams in the nightcap, collecting 10 strikeouts over five scoreless innings in a 6-0 victory. 

Matt Vita and Ryan Sawyer each collected two RBIs in the winning effort. 

Anthony Pillari tossed two scoreless frames to record his second save of the season. 

The Rams (14-11) return to action on Sunday with a doubleheader against the University of the Sciences.
