Sawyer and Fausnaught named Players of the Week
Every week during the regular season, the Philadelphia Baseball Review will honor a Division-II Player and Pitcher of the Week.

For the week ending on April 4, the Philadelphia Baseball Review recognizes Jefferson freshman Ryan Sawyer as Player of the Week and West Chester hurler Braeden Fausnaught as Pitcher of the Week.

Sawyer finished 7-for-10 over four games for the Rams. He drove in seven runs and scored seven times. He's hitting .382 on the season with three homers and 14 RBIs over ten games.

On the mound, Fausnaught surrendered just one run over 6 1/3 innings in a win over Shepherd. He struck out seven and scattered just two hits. He has a 3.50 ERA on the year over three starts.

Founded in 2006, the Philadelphia Baseball Review covers all aspects of baseball in the Philadelphia region.
