Bobby Heck, Brian Wildrick, and Justin Massielo earn Player of the Week honors
Each Tuesday during the regular season, the Philadelphia Baseball Review will honor a Division-III Player and Pitcher of the Week. These honors are not based entirely on statistics, but rather the value delivered by a player throughout the week.

For the week ending on February 23, the Philadelphia Baseball Review recognizes a pair of offensive players in Gwynedd Mercy junior outfielder Bobby Heck and Arcadia freshman infielder Justin Massielo as Co-Players of the Week.

Heck finished the week 6-for-11 (.545) with a double, four triples, two walks, seven runs scored, and six RBIs to pace the Griffins. He led the offense in Gwynedd Mercy's historic 40-7 win on Saturday over Gallaudet.

Massielo finished 7-for-11 (.636) for Knights over the weekend, hitting a double to go along with a pair of homers. He scored three runs, stole a base, and drove in five.

The Philadelphia Baseball Review recognizes Gwynedd Mercy senior hurler Brian Wildrick as Pitcher of the Week. He tossed seven scoreless innings while striking out five in the Griffins victory over Stevenson last week. Over the seven innings, he gave up just three hits and didn't walk a batter.

Founded in 2006, the Philadelphia Baseball Review covers all aspects of baseball in the Philadelphia region.
