Phillies visit the Marlins
Fresh off a four-game sweep, the Phillies will open a weekend series tonight in Miami with the last place Marlins. The Fish swept the Phillies last weekend at Citizens Bank Park.

Vince Velasquez will start the series opener for the Phils, aiming to build off his performance this past Saturday where he allowed one run and one hit over five innings against these very Marlins. That outing earned him another look, and so he'll be on the mound tonight.

The Marlins send Elieser Hernandez to the hill tonight. He'll be making his fourth start of the season and sits 0-2 with a 4.34 ERA. He took a no-decision in Philadelphia this past Saturday.

It can't be overstated how important of a series this is for the Phils. They enter the weekend 4 1/2 games behind the division-leading Braves and will head to Atlanta for a three-game set following this weekend series in Miami.

Roster Moves
The Phillies activated Adam Haseley from the 10-day injured list and optioned him to Triple-A Lehigh Valley. The club also activated reliever Tommy Hunter from the 60-day injured list and designated reliever Fernando Salas for assignment.
