Charles Levitt named Offensive Player of the Year
The Philadelphia Baseball Review announced on Friday that Swarthmore senior outfielder Charles Levitt is the publication's NCAA Division III Offensive Player of the Year.

A native of Minneapolis, Levitt became the first player in Swarthmore history to reach 200 career hits. He finished the season hitting .428 with five homers and 37 RBIs. He also stole 27 bases, posted a .986 fielding percentage, and led all Philadelphia D-III players with 53.7 runs created.

He ends his career with the Garnet with a .340 average to go along with 17 homers and 106 RBIs.

Swarthmore failed to qualify for the NCAA tournament but finished the season having won 11 of their final 13 contests, including a 3-1 win over No. 7 Rowan in the season finale.

The Philadelphia Baseball Review will unveil its entire All-Philadelphia Area D-III Team on Tuesday.
