Phillies to meet with Bryce Harper
The Philadelphia Baseball Review has confirmed that several high ranking members of the Phillies organization will travel this weekend to Las Vegas to meet with Bryce Harper and his agent Scott Boras.

Included in the entourage headed west is general manager Matt Klentak, team president Andy MacPhail, manager Gabe Kapler, and club owner John Middleton.

Boras and the Phillies met last month during the Winter Meetings in Las Vegas, but Harper wasn't present. From all accounts, little came from the meeting aside from the Phillies reiterating their interest to sign the superstar free agent.

This weekend's meeting may be different as the club could potentially outline an offer to ink Harper and sway him on why Philadelphia is a good fit.

It's believed, according to multiple sources, that the Phillies are willing to entertain a 10-year-deal for Harper and that's something other clubs just aren't interested in offering.

Though nothing is imminent, it appears we're drawing closer to finding out if the Phillies are indeed going to land one of this offseason's prized free agents.
