Philadelphia Phillies outright Pedro Florimon
The Phillies announced on Friday Pedro Florimon had cleared waivers and was outrighted to Triple-A Lehigh Valley.

The 31-year-old has spent the past two seasons with Philadelphia, last year dealing with a broken leg that limited him to just 50 games.

A career .211 hitter over eight seasons, Florimon served the Phillies primarily as a utility player. He hit .225 last year with two homers and five RBI's over 76 plate appearances.
