La Salle offense remains hot in 12-1 win
Brian Dudek and Austin Constantini collected three hits each to pace La Salle to a 12-1 road victory over Maryland Eastern-Shore on Tuesday.

Tied 1-1 entering the fifth, the Explorers offense erupted to push home 11 runs over the following four frames.

Eight different Explorers collected a hit in the contest, including five with multi-hit performances. Dudeck finished 3-for-4 and was a homer away from hitting for the cycle. Constantini went 3-for-5 with three runs scored.

Ben Faso (POTW-2/19) collected a pair of hits in the winning effort and drove in a pair of runs. Chase Arnold (POTW-2/26) also notched two hits, driving in a run via a double in the sixth. He later crossed the plate himself on a wild pitch. Ryan Guckin launched a two-run homer in the seventh, his first of the season.

Jackson Ray tossed four innings for the Explorers, surrendering one run on five hits. He struck out four.

The Explorers evened their record to 4-4 with the victory, reaching four wins before March for the first time since 2015.

La Salle opens a three-game series at Kansas State (4-4) on Friday.
