Jose Fernandez has shown his All-Star form throughout a blistering stretch heading into the Midsummer Classic.

The 23-year-old ace looks to continue his impressive display on Monday as the Miami Marlins open a four-game series at the Philadelphia Phillies, who were held to just one hit in their last outing.

Fernandez owns an 8-2 mark with a 1.71 ERA in his last 11 starts, and that includes a clunker when he was blitzed for nine runs (six earned) in 5 2/3 innings against Atlanta on July 2. Home Run Derby champion Giancarlo Stanton has gone deep on one occasion versus Philadelphia this season, but it’s his only hit to go along with 12 strikeouts in 18 at-bats.
