The storyline: The Phillies return to Philadelphia to open the home portion of the 2014 schedule after closing out a season opening six-game road trip.

Game 1 - Kyle Kendrick (0-1, 1.29) vs. Kyle Lohse (0-1, 3.86)
Game 2 - Roberto Hernandez (1-0, 3.38) vs. Matt Garza (0-1, 1.13)
Game 3 - Cliff Lee (2-0, 6.00) vs. Marco Estrada (0-1, 1.59)

Phillies notes: 3-3, 4th place in NL East ... The home opener was originally scheduled for Monday but rain bumped the contest to Tuesday. The scheduling change means the Phillies will need to go with a fifth starter six days earlier than originally planned - Jonathan Pettibone, Jeff Manship, and Dave Buchanan are all candidates to start Saturday against the Marlins ... Chase Utley is ranked fifth in the majors with a .456 batting average and tied with Mark Trumbo for the league lead in runs created with nine ... The Phillies have the sixth best OPS in the majors (.763) ... The Phillies are hitting .276 as a team, but just .244 against RHP.

Injury update: Cole Hamels (biceps) allowed two runs on three hits over four innings in a rehab start with High-A Clearwater Sunday. He's expected to make three more starts before joining the Phillies at the end of April.

Brewers notes:  4-2, 1st place in NL Central ... Brewers starters are 2-2 on the season with a 1.64 ERA ... The bullpen ranks second best in ERA with a 1.02 mark ... Kyle Lohse has a 2.98 ERA against the Phillies and a career 3.26 ERA at Citizens Bank Park  ... The Brewers start the season by playing 16 of their first 19 games against 2013 playoff teams that had a minimum of 94 wins last season.....this includes the world champion Red Sox and the National League champion Cardinals.
