PBR - Matt Elko's two-run RBI-double highlighted a four run sixth inning as Temple defeated La Salle 6-3 on Wednesday at Hank DeVincent Field.

Brant Norlander picked up the win, tossing three innings while surrendering two runs on three hits. He struck out four.

Jordan Queja hit his first homer of the season for the Owls in the win.

Steve Visnic continued his success out of the bullpen, hurling 3 1/3 scoreless innings while allowing just one hit. His ERA stands at 0.96 on the season. 

Adam Cherry was saddled with the loss for the Explorers, allowing four runs on three hits in less than an inning of work.

With the win Temple has won seven of nine entering Friday's A-10 contest against St. Louis. La Salle will open the A-10 portion of their schedule Friday at George Washington.
