Pete Mackanin is shaking up the top of the Phillies' order.
After batting leadoff for five straight games, Freddy Galvis is hitting sixth tonight. Everyone else in the lineup moved up a slot with Cesar Hernandez leading off.
Also of note tonight is the absence of Darin Ruf from the lineup as the Phillies are facing Padres left-hander Robbie Erlin,
Mackanin said Ruf injured his shoulder while diving for a ball at first base during Monday's home opener.
"We'll know more later," Mackanin said. Depending on the situation, Mackanin said Ruf may be available to pinch hit, however, the injury is still being evaluated.
