Philadelphia College Baseball
PHILADELPHIA – The Philadelphia Baseball Review today unveiled its preseason watch list for the Philly Collegiate Player of the Year Award, recognizing the top amateur baseball players across the region for the 2025 season.

The list features 20 standout players from 10 different programs, spanning all three levels of NCAA baseball. The Philadelphia Baseball Review will update the list throughout the season, allowing athletes to earn their way into consideration based on performance.

"Philadelphia has a rich baseball tradition, and this watch list highlights the next generation of talent poised to make an impact," said Patrick Gordon, Founder and Executive Editor of the Philadelphia Baseball Review. "These athletes represent the best of our region, and we look forward to following their journeys throughout the season."

This marks the first year the Philadelphia Baseball Review will maintain a running watch list throughout the season. Additionally, for the first time, fans will have a voice in the selection process, with voting set to begin in May.

This new format not only celebrates the region’s top collegiate talent but also strengthens the connection between the Philadelphia baseball community and the players who make an impact on the field.
