Ty Pan's aggressive baserunning proved decisive as the Philly Mummers eked out a 3-2 victory over the Philly Bandits on Tuesday night. In a pivotal sixth inning, Pan reached base on a fielder's choice, advanced to second on Alex Dardaris' sharp single, then stole third and capitalized on a throwing error to score the winning run.
 
Dardaris, a reliable presence at the plate, led the Mummers' offense with two hits. On the mound, Luke Birkhead was stellar in relief, delivering two shutout innings to secure the win.
 
For the Bandits, Yariel Rodriguez shone with two hits, including a double. Dylan Pope and Ryan Albin each stole two bases, keeping the Mummers' defense under constant pressure.
 
Bandits' starter Cole Kochanowicz was impressive, striking out three over two scoreless innings. However, Braden Kelly was charged with the loss after surrendering the decisive run.
 
This win boosts the Mummers' record to 5-6, while the Bandits fall to 5-3-1. The teams will face off again on Wednesday to conclude their series.
 
Fightin' Quakers Offense Erupts Early to Sink Ghost
In other PSCBL action, the Philly Fightin' Quakers set an early tone with a five-run first inning, cruising to a 7-1 victory over the Bucks County Ghost at Gwynedd Mercy University. 
 
Tyler Tucker's three-run double ignited the opening surge, putting the Quakers firmly in control.
 
Joel Bonner contributed two RBIs, while Kevin Bukowski added two hits. Mikey Amrhein showcased his speed with two stolen bases, rounding out a balanced offensive effort.
 
Ryan Cavanaugh earned the win with a solid four-inning performance, allowing one run on six hits and striking out five. Matt Mays followed with three shutout innings in relief, maintaining the Quakers' dominance.
 
Despite Nate Jones' two-hit effort for the Ghost, the early deficit proved insurmountable. The win brings the Fightin' Quakers to 5-5 on the season, while the Ghost fall to 5-4.
